It is a wounderful love duet,  full and overwhelming music, great  and touching voices.
You really see the delicate BUTTERFLY  full of love and gullibility, while flying all around the man who says "I snatched you!". 
But a snatched butterfly can no more fly if hunter's fingers ruin her wings.....
And we know it will be so for unfortunate Madame Butterfly.

è un meraviglioso duetto d'amore, musica piena e travolgente, grandi voci toccanti.
Si vede realmente la delicata FARFALLA, piena d'amore e di ingenuità, mentre vola intorno all'uomo che dice "Io t'ho ghermita!"
Ma una farfalla catturata non può più volare se le dita del cacciatore le rovinano le ali...
E noi sappiamo che così sarà per la sfortunata Madame Butterfly.


Ma, PANTA REI.... tutto passa
Torniamo a noi, a questi giorni di primavera che, tra una pioggia e l'altra, ci regalano anche cieli sereni, fiori e farfalle.....
But, PANTA REI..... All flows away
back to us, to these spring days that, between a rain and the other, also give us clear skies, flowers and butterflies....

Some days ago I painted this watercolor. There is a gate and there are flying butterflies beyond it.
I wanted express that we have several dreams in our mind, but they are flying beyond the gate of our daily impediments.
Alcuni giorni fa ho dipinto questo acquarello con farfalle che volano al di là di un cancello.
Ho voluto esprimere il fatto che le sbarre dei nostri impedimenti quotidiani ci impediscono di realizzare i nostri sogni.....
Che fare?
O rompiamo le sbarre o li guariamo volare al di là di esse

La ripropongo un'altra volta in questa composizione fotografica che ho creato combinando insieme il piatto su cui l'ho dipinta gloriosamente danzante ed un vecchio grammofono.
I propose her again in this photo-composition I created matching an old grammophon with the plate where I painted her dancing in glory 
She comes out of the grammophon trumpet, on the wave of music, imagine you which kind of melody, which kind of rythm, which sounds can accompany her whirling SERPENTINE DANCE.

Scorrono i giorni, scorrono i post, ma voglio tornare su Loie Fuller, la danzatrice che affascinò il tempo della Belle Epoque!

 Toulouse Lautrec la raffigurò varie volte, ma non solo lui.
Days run, posts run too, but I want to get back on Loie Fuller, the dancer who fascinated the time of the Belle Epoque!
  Toulouse Lautrec  depicted her several times, but he was not not the only one.

La troviamo in statuette e manifesti.... dinamica, vorticosa, voluttuosa, ...
We find her in little statues and posters.... dynamic, whirling, voluptuous ...

For a few years, then everything crashed.

PANTA REI, but the memory remains ...

Mi piace l'arte ed il tempo in cui visse questa danzatrice, quello spirito Liberty che pervase le espressioni umane con la sua fiducia nel progresso.
 Per pochi anni, poi tutto crollò.

Colei che danza è Loie Fuller, danzatrice americana famosissima a Parigi, a cavallo tra il XIX ed il XX secolo.

Rivoluzionò lo spettacolo di danza, incentrandolo su una spettacolare coreografia in cui suoni e colori si fondevano in ardite figurazioni da lei create, volteggiando avvolta da tuniche e veli colorati che faceva ondeggiare vertiginosamente attorno al suo corpo.
Inventò numerose danze ispirate dai fiori, dalle farfalle, dal fuoco, ma la più famosa di tutte fu la "danza Serpentina".
Ecco come la descrive un ammiratore
"Loie Fuller faceva volteggiare attorno a sé metri e metri di veli, cavaturaccioli, trottola, splendente nella luce colorata come un vaso iridato di Tiffany, fino a trasformarsi, con serpentine sempre più ardite, in un enorme ornamento, la cui metamorfosi, da uno slancio luminoso ad un improvviso

abbandono, fino all'annullamento nella gola dell'oscurità e del sipario, appare nel ricordo come il simbolo dello stile floreale" (F. Ahlers Hestermann)

The dancer is Loie Fuller, famous American dancer in Paris, at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century.

She revolutionized the dance show, focusing it on a spectacular choreography where sounds and colors blended in bold figures she created, whirling wrapped in tunic and colored veils that did whirl around her body.
She invented many dances inspired by flowers, butterflies, by the fire, but the most famous of all was the "Serpentine Dance".
Here's how an admirer describes it
"Loie Fuller was circling around herself many meters of veils, corkscrew, spinning, shining  in colored light like an  iridescent Tiffany vessel, until she became, with increasingly daring serpentine , a huge ornament, whose metamorphosis, from one rush to a sudden bright
abandonment, until canceled in the throat of the curtain and darkness, appears in the memory as a symbol of  floral style "(F. Ahlers Hestermann)
